Academy Awards 2009 Nominees | The 2009 Oscars Nominees

Nominations for the 81st Academy Awards were announced on January 22, 2009 by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Sid Ganis and Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, an Academy Award winner for his 2006 film “The Last King of Scotland.”

A total 24 categories for Academy Awards are up for grabs. The following are the Nominees for the 2009 Oscars.
