February 20, 2009 – 39,455 out of 88,649 ( or 44.51% ) who took the November 2008 Nursing Licensure Examinations successfully passed the November 2008 nursing board exam as announced by the The Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC).

January 25, 2009 – The 2008 November Nursing Board Exam (Nursing Licensure Exam or NLE) saw one of the biggest NLE board examinees, if not the biggest in the history of Nursing Board Examinations.
Close to 89,000 examinees took the November 2008 NLE in various locations of the country.
Perhaps the very reason why its taking too long for the Nursing Board to release the results of the November 2008 Nursing Board. Others are saying results will be release last week of January or first week of February. Still, some are saying the Nov ‘08 nursing board exam results will be released sometime March, 2009.
Lots of Nursing graduates who took the November 2008 NLE are hoping the list of Nursing Board passers be released soon – many of them are getting more impatient and anxiety gave them even more sleepless nights.
Some commenters of the article “November 2008 PRC Nursing Board Exam Results (NLE) and Passers List“ are even praying that many will pass this time. Previous Nursing Board Exam Results showed less than 40% passing average, which resulted to many of the Nursing graduates who did not pass to look for some alternative jobs.
The issue on oversupply of Nursing graduates have been raised in the past, but nothing has been done to manage the problem. Concerns were on the proliferation of many supposed Nursing schools, but may not even give par Nursing curriculum and facilities.

when will the november 2008 results be exactly released? its taking such a long time and the agony of waiting is never easy. hope many will pass…..
I could feel the anticipation and the “anxiety” that it brings.
So far, no definite date yet, but let’s see third week to 4th week of feb.
