All About 2nd Chances: The Eraserheads Reunion Concert

The rumors seemed to be true after all. The great Filipino rock band in the 90′s, Eraserheads or The E-Heads is going to perform a one-night concert on August 30, 2008 at the CCP Open Grounds. Again rumors are flying all around that Philip Morris (maker of Marlboro) is behind this rare event, and paid each member 10 Million pesos just to forget anything that bothers them with each other for one night and make the fans happy.

Now that’s a lot of money enough to bury the hatchet between Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala and Marcus Adoro. And a chance for them to possible collaborate once again to deliver great music just like the old days.

Ely Buendia, the group’s load vocals confirmed about this concert event in one of his radio (and TV) interviews). Probably this is a good opportunity for Ely, to make a move to reunite the group. Ely was given a second chance in life after he almost succumbed of heart attack a few months back. There’s an old adage which says “life is full of second chances, its only that men didn’t took take one of them.” Hmmm, I forgot who said that, but just credit it to me if you need a source. LOL.

Now got to check my blog earnings and make sure I got some moolah for this event.
