While the UAAP 2008 Final Four are waging wars to win the UAAP Season 71 Championship Title, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is also staging a battle for the 2008 NCAA Final Four.
Earlier, San Beda Red Lions clinched the Top Spot at the expense of Letran Knights, who lost in the second overtime despite an obvious advantage at the start of their semis game and lots of turnover by the former.
Letran will face Mapua, while San Sebastian will try to get rid of the Jose Rizal Heavy Bombers to win the Top 2 seed in the league. Games are scheduled on Monday, September 15, 2008.
