UAAP 71 Finals Game 2 Results and Updates

Its a do-or die for the Green Archers on Thursday.

Losing all games to Ateneo Blue Eagles this year, the UAAP Men’s Basketball Defending Champions De La Salle Green Archers – the perennial UAAP Championship Finals underdog faces a no-tomorrow match on Thursday, September 24, 2008 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Their UAAP 71 Championship Finals Game 1 loss to Ateneo Blue Eagles may have hurt their hopes in making a repeat of last year’s performance, where they swept the unbeaten UE Red Warriors, but Coach Franz Pumaren said winning Finals Game 1 is just an ‘incentive’, but not a Championship assurance.

Bloggista.org has been running a poll on which UAAP Team will win this year’s UAAP Season 71 Championship Title. As of this posting, Ateneo is highly favored with 2/3 of the votes, equivalent to 458 out of 684 votes. De La Salle got 226 votes.

    chapion ateneo!! ayos yung mga plays sa 1st and 2nd qtr.. prang hindi sulit yung pagkapanalo nila.. pero win is a win!! thaa all matters!!
