Borgie Hermida of San Beda Red Lions made his team proud by scoring 14 points and beat the JRU Heavy Bombers during Game 1 of the Philippines NCAA Season 84 Men’s Basketball Finals on Wednesday, 24-Sep-2008 at the Araneta Coliseum.
The 72-68 victory over the Heavy Bombers inched them closer to capture their third straight NCAA Championship Title.
Game 2 is scheduled on Friday, September 27, 2008 at the Araneta Coliseum. If the Red Lions win, it will be a three-peat victory for the San Beda Team.
Meanwhile, voting is still on on which NCAA Team will win this year’s Championship Title.
