The San Beda Red Lions dominated Game 3 of the NCAA 84 Championship Finals, with a 16-point margin over the hopeful JRU Heavy Bombers (85-69) to win the 2008 RP NCAA Season 84 Championship. Game 3 was held at the Araneta Coliseum today, September 29, 2008.
The Red Lions victory marked their third consecutive NCAA Championship Title. Congratulations!

The frustrating loss of San Beda Lions in Game 2 of the 2008 NCAA 84 Championship Finals left them in a rubber match against the title-hungry Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers today, 29-Sep-2008 at the Araneta Coliseum.
The 62-60 loss over the JRU Bombers was mostly blamed to poor officiating of the Game Referees by the Red Lions Coach Frankie Lim. This prompted the PBL officials headed by Commissioner Chino Trinidad to issue a statement to pull-out its Referees from the crucial NCAA 84 Finals Game 3.
We will see later at 4:00pm if the games will proceed with the PBL referees officiating. So this will gonna be a fierce basketball fight between the San Beda Red Lions, who are bent on winning their 3rd straight NCAA Championship crown, and the JRU Heavy Bombers who are all-out and battle ready to bring home that elusive NCAA Championship Title and end a 36-year title drought.

I like San Beda a lot but as I watched the game during Game 2, I was happy that at least San Beda lost one game. Nakakaasar ang ugali ng mga Bedista nung game na yan kasi sinigawan ba naman in unison ang kakaunting JRU audience ng “ISKWATER”.
Maxado nang mataas ang pride ng San Beda and to my honest opinion, dapat ma-humble din ang team na ito.
I’m not from Beda nor JRU. Heck, I’m not even from NCAA league but rather the UAAP league. Hindi ko naman narinig sigawan ng DLSU ang NU ng ISKWATER nor vice versa nor for any team whatsover. Kung pataasan na lang ng pride ang gus2 ng Beda, then they should fight ADMU. Tutal, pareho naman mahangin. hehe. joke!
SBC and ADMU both are my schools. We are not airheads, we just know when to speak and when to act. There are times during the finals where the crowd of JRU are blatantly insulting our benches, and all of us just started clapping just to settle the argument.
If you are going to search for the meaning of Squatter (which is not spelled as ISKWATER), we could have been either right or wrong for saying that. We just have to stop them from such insolence, indignity, or contempt against our rights and the name of our school.
Don’t be such a cry baby, MR. PAOLO (imagine saying all these things because your school didn’t bagged the title, you’ll have your time, right?!). You said that we have so much pride… Don’t we?! We are just proud to call ourselves WINNERS.

as if. wala naman alam ang san beda kundi maki social climb sa mga Atenista at Lasalista! Totoo namang social climber at mahihina utak ng mga bedans. Kaya sila nasigaw ng squatter ay dahil sobrang insecure nila at feeling nila may ipagyayabang sila sa NCAA schools.
Bakit, ang Mapua at Benilde ba nagyayabang?
