MANILA – A total of 292 out of 544 examinees passed the chemist board exams given in early September 2009, with a La Salle University graduate topping the list, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.
The PRC said the topnotcher was Marc Rhyan Anthony Jimenez Puno, 20, who obtained a 90 percent rating. Puno graduated summa cum laude and is now teaching in his alma mater.
Following Puno are William Wang Manalastas Jr., also of La Salle with a rating of 89.75; Amster Fei Pua Baquiran, 89, University of the Philippines-Diliman; Melssa Antonette Elizda Santiago, 88.75, UPLB; Jhon Ralph dela Pena Enterian, 88, Xavier University; Mario Tingosia Rosete III, 86, UP-Manila; Shyne de Vera Galapon, 87.50, UP-Diliman; Jon Philippe Ng Go, 87.50, University of Santo Tomas.
Reece Joreim del Guzman Hugo, 87.25, UP-Diliman; Kiall Francis Gadilan Suazo, 87.25, UP-Diliman; Arlou Kristina Joingco Angeles, 86.75, UP-Manila; Angel Tugade Bautista VII, 86,50, UP-Diliman; and Samuel Anthon Prudente Bello, 86.75, University of Southern Mindanao – Kabacan.
The PRC announced the oath-taking of the successful chemistry board examinees will be held on October 16 at 1 p.m. at the Centennial Hall of the Manila Hotel.
