Strongest Aftershock hits Haiti Anew

A strong Aftershock was recorded Wednesday at around 6 o’clock in the morning measuring intensity 6.1 eight days after the major quake. The amount  of damage made by the said aftershock is still being determined.  Due to this, a number of Haitians expressed their desire to flee from their devastated country due to trauma from the killer quake.

The US Geological Survey has identified Petit-Goave as the center of the aftershock.  According to USGS they have recorded more than 40 aftershocks since last week and that there can be no assurance as to when these aftershocks will end.

The quake has rendered an estimated death of 200,000 with more than 1.5 million homeless and 250,000 injured based on the report gathered by the European Union.
