Gilbert “Gibo†Teodoro, Lakas-Kampi-CMD standard bearer is eyeing on slapping more taxes on sin products in order to raise more revenues for the government. The targeted products include tobacco and alcohol, which according to Teodoro, needs to be applied with a simplified excise tax to support his revenue-enhancement measure.
However, Teodoro assured that he would not raise new taxes that would hit the working class. Gibo justified such move because more revenue ollections are needed to fuel the economy.
